Crossway Veterinary Housecalls began as a small idea with a big heart. In 2008, while working as a relief veterinarian and in the emergency room, Dr. Rene Rubio recognized the huge need for a mobile veterinary service. With the goal of providing convenient, lower-stress veterinary care to our local community, Dr. Rubio and his wife began seeing clients in the evenings and on weekends at their homes. In 2010, we happened to win a free website, and Crossway Veterinary Housecalls was officially born.
From there, our community lifted us up. One family told another, and over time this little dream grew into a full-time, full-service mobile veterinary practice proudly serving Magnolia, Montgomery, Pinehurst, Tomball, Creekside, The Woodlands, Spring, and Conroe.
As a family-owned and faith-guided practice, we have seen God’s hand in the growth of business over the years and are grateful for the privilege of serving the families who have trusted us for their pet’s care. Every new connection and every open door is a blessing. Our mission has always been simple: to treat every pet with the same gentleness, patience and respect we give our own pets. In our mobile hospital, your dogs and cats are not exposed to other sick, nervous or barking pets so we are able provide calmer visits where pets feel safer and more relaxed. Additionally, by coming to you we are able to save you the hassle of getting to the vet’s office and time lost while waiting in a hospital lobby.
